Student Business Plan Judges Choose Finalists

An article titled “Student Business Plan Judges Choose Finalists” features the WVU Business Incubator tenant, Arachnovation.

The article states that in the 2007 West Virginia Open for Business Student Business Plan Competition, fifty teams submitted written proposals in two categories - lifestyle and technology - in September.  Twenty advanced to a grueling several hours of second-round presentations at the West Virginia Entrepreneurship Initiative conference in Flatwoods.  Ten finalists were finally chosen, five in the lifestyle category and five in the technology category.

Finalists will have to write full business plans and compete in Morgantown for $10,000 awarded in each category along with a number of business services.

Story in the November 3, 2006 edition of the State Journal.
