Students Present Business Plans During “Idea Challenge”

A story by WBOY’s reporter Macall Allen talks about the WVU Entrepreneurship Center’s “Idea Challenge” on February 27, 2009.

The article features Robert Loehr, one of seven winners. His idea was “Spoke Art,” which is creating fashion items like bracelets out of bicycle parts.

The College of Business and Economics also holds a business plan competition every year.  It’s very similar to the “Idea Challenge” but it lasts all year and the final prize is $10,000 to help start the business.

The full article can be found on WBOY’s website as well as a video on the story.
