Biotech Company Starts in Morgantown

An article in the Daily Athenaeum discusses Biotech, a WVU Business Incubator tenant.

The article states that  the Protea Biosciences facility on Hartman Run Road is the first commercial biotech company in West Virginia.  The company develops new products used in medical research that can help people identify proteins, said Stephen Turner, founder, president and CEO.  Three WVU graduate students have been working to develop products that will help labs improve the quality of research on proteins.  Turner hopes Protea will begin to spread its work into the international market.
