Dr. George Hammond presents
“WVU Economic Forecast: State Bottoms Out in 2010?
With Implications for the Morgantown MSA.”
A Morgantown Area Entrepreneurs Forum will be held from 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 in the ground floor training room in the Administration Building (to the right of the Terminal Building) of the Morgantown Municipal Airport. Light refreshments will be available, or attendees may bring their own brown bag lunch. The speaker will be Dr. George Hammond, Associate Director of the WVU Bureau of Business and Economic Research. Dr. Hammond will present his economic outlook for the State of West Virginia, and will also discuss implications for the Morgantown MSA in light of current State and National outlooks.
The Morgantown Entrepreneurs Forum is co-sponsored by the Morgantown Area Economic Partnership, the WVU Research Corporation, the WVU Entrepreneurship Center, and the WV Small Business Development Center. The Forums bring together existing and prospective entrepreneurs, business service professionals, and local small business resource providers. They provide business development and networking opportunities as well as useful information on a variety of topics of interest to local entrepreneurs.
Existing and prospective business persons in the Morgantown Area are invited to attend. There is no cost or pre-registration.
