The Mid-Atlantic Technology Research and Innovation Center (MATRIC) focuses both on the financial performance of the corporation as well as the social concerns of West Virginia and the United States. MATRIC is involved with these aspects of West Virginia’s economy: 1) Appalachain Land Restoration Center, 2) Biodeisel, 3) Software Assurance, and 4) Coal Mine Safety.
