The article “Pauly, Matric Work to Improve W.Va.” was featured in the “Who’s Who in West Virginia Business 2006.”
The article states that Keith Pauly took over MATRIC, a company trying to capitalize on the Kanawha Valley’s history as a chemical and technology research center to develop new products and jobs, in 2004.
MATRIC no longer just focuses on the Kanawha Valley - it has offices in Morgantown, Fairmont, and Huntington and is under contract to do private research and development for a number of different companies from around the world.
Since Pauley took over the helm of MATRIC, the corporation has grown from one employee to more than 50. The center has also received more than $7 million in research contracts.
