His work with NexID Biometrics, which produces software that can be implemented into fingerprinting scanning equipment to detect whether or not the print is a live person’s, and other positions he’s held, such as the founding director of the Center for Identification Technology Research at WVU, professor of computer science and electrical engineering, and founding co-editor of WVNano, have helped him secure this appointment.
