Thanks to those who attended the Generation Morgantown Diversity Committee Event with B. Keith Fulton, President of Verizon West Virginia. Mr. Fulton gave an outstanding talk, and answered a lot of important questions from our members. We were pleased to have students from Leadership Monongalia as guests at this event, whose attendance was sponsored by the law firm of Steptoe & Johnson. Please look for future events to be planned by Generation Morgantown’s Diversity Committee, as well as the Education Committee and Community Service Committee.
December First Friday/Arts Show - December 12, 2008, beginning at 5:30, at de Lazy Lizard (345 High Street).
Please join us for our December First Friday, which will be held on the second Friday of December due to the last Mountaineer home game being Saturday, December 6th. The last First Friday of 2008 will be held at de Lazy Lizard on High Street, and will feature a silent auction including items from local artists. The money raised from the silent auction will be donated to MT Pockets Theater Company so that they may purchase microphones to be used in productions at The Met Theater. We hope to see you on December 12th!
