Marts, formerly the president of URS Corp.’s Washington Defense Group (an engineering business serving the federal government), and “a seasoned executive with more than thirty years experience in the strategic management of energy, defense, and power utility system projects with federal agencies and private corporations”, has been named as the West Virginia University Interim Director for Advanced Energy Initiative (“AEI”).
